The application process at YouthBuild Philly has multiple steps:

Step 1: Complete an application and submit before the deadline – usually at the end of July.

Step 2: All applicants meeting the eligibility requirements will be contacted to attend a group Reengagement Facilitation Session (RFS). You must attend this session (alternative dates are available on our website—but we ask that you let us know when you are attending).

Step 3: All applicants who attend an RFS will be scheduled to attend a one-on-one intake. This is so we can tell you more about the school, answer your questions, and help you prepare for school and for the final step of the application, Mental Toughness Training.

Step 4: All applicants who complete steps 1, 2 and 3 will be invited to Mental Toughness Training August 22-31, 2018. You must attend all days of Mental Toughness Training before you can be enrolled into YouthBuild’s program for the 2017-2018 school year. Please note that a blind random lottery may be held if there are more applicants than slots available at the conclusion of Mental Toughness.
