YouthBuild Philly from a student perspective:
We are now accepting applications for the Class of 2020!
Interested individuals can submit an application online or at our location at 1231 N. Broad St., 3rd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19122.
The application process at YouthBuild Philly has multiple steps:
Step 1: Complete an application and submit before the deadline on July 26, 2019.
Step 2: All applicants meeting the eligibility requirements will be contacted to attend a mandatory group information session.
Location: YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School
1231 N. Broad St.; 3rd Floor
Philadelphia, PA 19122
Step 3: All applicants who attend an information session will be scheduled to attend a one-on-one intake. This is so we can tell you more about the school, answer your questions, and help you prepare for school and for the final step of the application, Mental Toughness Training.
Step 4: All applicants who complete steps 1, 2 and 3 will be invited to Mental Toughness Training. You must attend all days of Mental Toughness Training (August 21, 2019- August 27, 2019) before you can be enrolled into YouthBuild’s program for the 2019-2020 school year. Please note that a blind random lottery may be held if there are more applicants than slots available at the conclusion of Mental Toughness. And because applicants are only admitted for enrollment in early September, there is no wait-list for unsuccessful applicants.
